About the program

FAST Travel Grant for Collaborative Research aimed at fostering collaboration in the STEM field between Armenian and international researchers by providing them with financial assistance.

The program had the following three objectives:

  • Support the Armenian researchers collaborating with foreign counterparts who have received funding from national science organizations in the top thirty list of SCImago Journal & Country Rank portal, such as the National Science Foundation and similar
  • Support Armenian scientists who have joint research projects in FAST priority areas (Biotechnology, Computer and Data Science, Advanced Materials, Microelectronics) with foreign counterparts from world-leading research institutions/labs
  • Support foreign and Armenian diaspora researchers who aim to conduct a part of their research in Armenia in collaboration with/or under the supervision of local researchers
